This is probably the most popular holiday destination in Ukraine, especially in winter. But both in spring and autumn and summer this place is incredibly picturesque! After all, nature sets the mood for romance.

The Carpathians in summer, spring, and autumn: you can go to Bukovel, Yaremche, Verkhovyna, and its most beautiful river Cheremosh, Kosov, Kolomyia, Truskavets, Morshyn, Vorokhta, and Mikulichin – all these are the most spectacular places in the Carpathians, which will surprise you, amaze, and delight with their scenery! Have a romantic picnic in the forest, and hire a photographer to do a photoshoot in the Carpathian landscapes in colourful national clothes. In autumn, nature gets a completely different shade, and your pictures can be bright and colourful. Besides, you can enjoy romantic horseback rides and delicious cuisine in the local tava.

Carpathian resorts are the best ideas for winter: these include ski resorts Bukovel, Yaremche, Slavske, and Dragobrat. Enjoy skiing, hot mulled wine, cosy warm fireplaces, saunas, and delicious cuisine.

The city is charming and beautiful – pleasant streets, lively Deribasovskaya street, tourist-infested Potemkin Stairs, marvellous parks, cosy sea station, and so many different cafes and restaurants in the city centre. The city is worth visiting.

Buy tickets to the opera house that is worth visiting! Try a riverboat tour – a beautiful sighting of the whole city from the sea. And don’t forget to check out the local beaches – there are a lot of them and they are worth it.

You can even go to the Privoz market to find something interesting. By the way, souvenirs are much cheaper there than in the places of tourist accumulation.

Honeymoon in Lviv

Lviv is also known as the second Vienna because the city is fantastically beautiful and ancient with streets resembling those of medieval Europe. We are sure you will fall in love with Lviv forever. There are plenty of places to visit both for a short weekend or a long stay.

The Lviv City Hall is a must for visiting – you will see the whole city from a high spot! However, the high City Hall should be reached on foot. But you can count the stairs!

We also suggest you visit Shevchenkivsky Gai, an ancient park in the open air with beautiful houses and the Ukrainian spirit. There you can breathe fresh air and have fun with each other.

Lviv has a lot of cosy cafes, especially unusual ones located around the Market Square – coffee houses, chocolate bars, pizzerias, and restaurants. Be sure to visit at least one of them, because Lviv is famous for its delicious coffee!

Honeymoon in Chernivtsi

If Lviv is a little Vienna, Chernivtsi is a petite Paris. The architecture is magical, the streets are marvellous, and the people are nice. What else do you need during a romantic journey? The number one attraction is the famous Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. This building is listed by UNESCO as one of the most remarkable in Europe.

And the walks on the local squares are a must as well. Admire Theatre Square, Central Square, Philharmonic Square, Turkish Square, and the former St. Christ’s Square.

The capital attracts many Ukrainians, so if you haven’t been here yet, it’s time to arrange a romantic trip for yourself! Of course, you should visit Maidan Nezalezhnosti, St. Andrew’s descent and The Motherland Monument. If you walk along the outskirts, you can see a beautiful landscape alley, unusual houses on Vozdvizhenska Street, and nice-looking restaurants.

Ukraine is a big, beautiful and picturesque country. A honeymoon spent within the country is better and more romantic than trips to other countries. The number of places where to spend a honeymoon is huge, as there are several other beautiful cities like Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Kamyanets-Podilsky, and Kharkiv. Explore your country, and travel around Ukraine because Ukrainians are the most romantic nation!
